Terms of use

Last updated on 3 November 2026.

About these terms

Sorto is a free service by Biplo from Belgium to draw names for a gift exchange. By using Sorto, on the site or through an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, you agree to these terms.

What you may do

Use Sorto to draw names for a group that knows about it and wants to take part. Only enter the names of such people.

Do not use the service to collect or spread messages or data that are unlawful, hurtful or misleading, or to disturb or overload the service, for example with automated requests.

In case of misuse we may delete a group or limit access.

Links instead of accounts

There are no accounts. Whoever has the group link can pick a name. Whoever has the admin link can manage and delete the group. Whoever has a personal link sees that match.

Keep the admin link and your personal link safe and do not share them. We cannot recover a lost admin link.

Wish lists and questions

You are responsible for what you write on your wish list or in a question. Links to shops may contain a partner code. Those are marked.

The service

We do our best to keep Sorto working well and safely, but we do not promise that the service is always available or free of errors. We may change or stop the service.

Groups are deleted automatically as the privacy policy describes.

Liability

Sorto is free. As far as the law allows, Biplo is not liable for damage caused by using the service, such as a missed gift or a leaked draw. This does not apply to intent or gross negligence.

ChatGPT, Claude and other assistants

If you use Sorto through an assistant, the terms and privacy policy of that service apply too.

Changes and law

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Belgian law applies to these terms.
